Octagonal Blenders are used for mixing Powders to Powders, or Powders to granules, and even mix Pellets. Free flowing or easily moving materials are normally mixed by using this mixer. The mixer has got a peculiar Octagonal shape, and rotating type arrangement which helps in uniform mixing. Diagonally fitted blades (optional) also helps in mixing while the vessel rotates. There is a converged mouth in the Pharmaceutical Octagonal Blender, provided for feeding and discharging the mixer. Flap valve or Butterfly valve can be providing at this point fitted with a small hopper. One side can be opened for cleaning and maintenance. Manual operating handle is provided as optional or Inching switch to bring the vessel into position while stops, for feeding and discharging.
